Washington Government Relations Group


I had the awesome opportunity to lead the creative development of a full-page print ad and social media content in support of Cisco’s participation in the 12th Annual Washington Government Relations Group (WGRG) Tin Cup Awards Dinner. This event honors African-American leaders in government affairs who embody excellence and a deep commitment to diversity, while also raising funds for scholarships benefiting minority college students.

The campaign spotlighted Cisco’s values-driven approach to civic engagement and inclusive leadership. I worked across brand, government affairs, executive communications, and design teams to develop messaging that celebrated the honorees and reinforced Cisco’s role as a champion for equitable representation in public policy.

Since its inception, the Tin Cup Awards have raised over $250,000 in scholarships for students of color in good academic standing—making this project not just a brand moment, but a meaningful investment in future changemakers.
